Building the digital knowledge network for medical engineering in Europe.
CALLME connects universities, medical clinics, companies and students through E-Centers, innovative NEM/STEM-based learning materials and an open E-COOL platform for collaboration and assisted learning.
How CALLME project creates value?
The project integrates a transnational network, innovative learning material and a digital platform into one coherent ecosystem for medical engineering education.

1. Knowledge Triangle Network
- A network of E-Centers combining higher education, industry and healthcare to enable personalized, case-driven collaboration in medical engineering.
- Digital and physical collaboration channels
- E-Centers in RO, RS, LV, IE, CY
2. Innovative Learning Material
- NEM and STEM-based curricula and courses that address real clinical and engineering needs in fields such as implants, assistive systems and patient-specific mechatronics.
- Integration into accredited HE programs
- Pilot courses C1–C5 (See relevant E-training materials section)
3. E-COOL Platform & Toolkit
- An open digital environment with e-Learning, Smart Content Management System and a Toolkit for Assisted Learning, supporting inclusive and accessible education.
- Support for learners with disabilities
- Online portals and LMS prototypes

CALLME PROJECT is a consortium of European partners from Romania, Cyprus, Ireland, Serbia, Latvia which aims to create a novel European educational platform and physical and E-network, that will allow further education and specialization in the field of medical engineering and serve as the basis for future integration of novel medical techniques into society.
From concept to working prototypes
Several prototypes of the CALLME ecosystem are already available online for testing and refinement with students, engineers and medical stakeholders: E-training materials and Platform Network.
A European partnership of 6 organisations
CALLME project brings together higher education institutions and an SME with strong expertise in medical engineering, digital learning and innovation management.
